Design Philosophy

First we look at the function/use which starts with the documentation of needs and desires, "the goals”.  We assess the users, their processes, work habits, and current environment.  We study the elements that negatively and positively influence the day to day mental and physical productivity, innovation, and creativity levels.

Second we look at the basic elements that shape and define the building itself. We start with standard building blocks, applicable codes, ordinances and client standards, programming, use, ancillary needs, and sustainability which will all have an influence on the initial size, shape, and comfortability of the building exterior and its interior spaces.

Third we define and create "art", which is the building style, color, texture, material, nature and amenities to create the building identity or character which will ultimately define its place in its environment.  These are very important as these elements can have negative or positive effects on its surroundings.

Each of these phases culminates in a sustainable place that meets the basic functions while contributing to the mental and physical demands of the human experience in an environment that brings man closer to nature.

Motto:  To create environments where Humans can interact and experience the benefits both mentally and physically of /with Nature.
